I've used these tools many times -- they work well.
When enlarging a world from a single region to a 2x2 (or larger), selecting the ocean option for the new regions gives a more attractive result (to my mind).
Don't forget to save an OAR before enlarging/reducing -- just in case!

Hope all goes well, Ozwell
I'm using the new mesh terrain with some of the older textures included with the Oak Forest sets, the Winter one in this case. They work well.

Re: Who still uses sculpties?
We don't HAVE TO build with mesh.
What if we choose instead to build a region using prims alone, perhaps with a restricted set of sculpties -- a bit like we used to back in the early 2010s, from necessity at that time?

Oh, Kimm, best wishes to you and all your neighbours.
How is the weather doing over there? Headlines in the UK papers mention heavy snow, blizzard conditions as well as the flooding on the east coast. (It's just misty, drizzly and 7°C in my part of the UK -- quite a contrast.)

Re: Prims vs mesh performance
Thank you for doing these tests, Tess. Interesting results which could encourage those who used to enjoy building in-world using prims to return. The push for mesh also pushed some of us away from virtual world creation, by adding barriers we couldn’t surmount no matter how many tutorials we attended.

Re: Tessin will go offline unless...
I've been in this sort of situation in the past -- it's a horrible feeling. Some possible avenues to explore if the sponsorship is not forthcoming.... While Tessin is still an Always-On, make an OAR of the full 8x8 (you might need to make this a clone to ensure everything gets saved). Then use the r...

Re: Old photos of Kitely
Thanks for the link to Ener's blog, Graham. Downloaded Greythane's installer for SoaS on the Mac, and to my amazement it is working on a 2021 M1 Pro MBP! This could be very useful. Anyway, I've several OARs saved from when Paislee and I first joined Kitely, again in 2012 (my first avie, Dot Macchi, ...
